The Batavia Orchid Society is hosting the 2026 Chicago Suburban Orchid Show on Saturday and Sunday, March 21-22.

Orchids: Amplified, Illinois Orchid Society - Spring 2026 Show / March 13-15, 2026
The show will take place the weekend of March 14-15, 2026 at the Chicago Botanic Gardens (“CBG”) in Burnstein Hall, with set up taking place on Friday, March 13, 2026 from noon until 8 pm.
The deadline to register a display is February 22, 2026, and the deadline to register plants is Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 6:00 pm.

WOS and Milaeger's Garden Center in Racine are once again co-sponsoring "Orchids for Everyone," an AOS-judged orchid show..There will be hundreds of flowering orchids in common and many unusual genera. It will be held in Milaeger's Expo Greenhouse at 4838 Douglas Ave (Highway 32) Racine WI 53402. Visiting orchid societies include Eastern Iowa Orchid Society, Illinois Orchid Society and the Northeastern Wisconsin Orchid Society. Attending vendors are Anything Orchids, Mystical Plants, Sunprarie Orchids, Klehm Growers, and Steve Gonzalez. They will have plants in flower, in spike as well as seedlings. Milaeger's will have Phalaenopsis and Dendrobiums for sale and perhaps Vandas and other genera as well. Show hours are Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be classes for beginners. On both days, Bruce is reprising his popular "Orchid Repotting'' classes.

ORCHID QUEST has something for everyone! It is the Upper Midwest's largest orchid show and sale, featuring thousands of exotic orchids on display and for sale to the public. The event showcases individual plants and group exhibits designed by orchid clubs from Wisconsin and neighboring states that are judged at the national level by the American Orchid Society.
